With my first marathon just over 3 months away and wanting to turn up on the day in the best possible condition, I decided to take John up on his offer of coaching. After a short consultation John started to put together my sessions, explained how to tackle them and gave me regular feedback. Some were tougher than others but knowing that you’ve got the backing of a top coach like John really does help you get the most out of your training. As a result of my hard work and Johns expert coaching I stood on the start line of the Manchester marathon feeling good and confident of getting the job done in a respectable time. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with John in helping me become a better runner.
