Whilst John is very much the ‘run’ element of MBRB, Lilly is most definitely the ‘move’ part. Concentrating on injury prevention, strength and conditioning, Lilly’s job is to keep people running as well as help those who are suffering from an injury to return as quickly and as safely as possible. Lilly’s 20+ years of experience working with horses (who weigh half a ton and don’t speak!), has made transitioning to working with humans in the past few years very straightforward.
Lilly’s own story involves several times coming back from serious injury – A hip surgery in her early 20s, as well as a serious horse fall meaning an ankle held together by 15 pins and plates. Lilly knows just how horrible injuries can be, but through her own extensive experience has been able to use strength and conditioning as a way to still be able to enjoy running and other physical activities.
